Privacy Policy
Effective November 5, 2026
This policy explains how WadjetLabs LLC ("we", "us") handles information in the IronAlmanac™ mobile apps, the IronAlmanac web app at app.ironalmanac.com, and this website (together, "IronAlmanac"). We keep data collection to what the app needs to work, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information that stays on your device
You can use IronAlmanac without an account. In that case, what you enter is saved only on your device:
- Your bikes (make, model, year, VIN, mileage and photos)
- Service records and maintenance reminders
- Ride totals (distance and time)
- Your profile (name, road name, home area and the year you started riding)
- App settings, such as whether the startup theme music plays
We cannot see this information. You can delete it anytime with Profile › Erase this device, or by uninstalling the app.
If you create a free account
You can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. When you do:
- Your name and email address are used to identify your account.
- Your bikes, bike photos, service records and reminders are backed up to your account so you can use them on any device.
- Events you post are shown to all IronAlmanac users, with your name as the poster. Reports you make about events are used to keep the event list accurate.
Accounts, backups and posted events are stored with Google Firebase, a service of Google LLC.
Location
With your permission, IronAlmanac uses your device's location to measure the distance and time of rides you track. Only the totals are saved, not your route. The app may also use your location, or an approximate location based on your internet connection, to show Adventure Rides and events for your state and area. You can turn off location access anytime in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
Vehicle and recall lookups
When you look up a VIN, choose a make and model, or check for recalls, the vehicle details (such as make, model, year or VIN) are sent to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public vehicle databases, either directly or through our server. These lookups don't include your name or account information.
Searching for events on the web
"Find events on the web" opens a web search in your browser using your home area and any other areas you add. That search is handled by the search provider under its own privacy policy.
Advertising
IronAlmanac does not currently show ads. If we add ads to the free version in the future (for example through Google AdMob), we will update this policy first, explain what information ad providers receive, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Website and hosting
This website and the web app are hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We don't use advertising cookies on this website.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers listed above, so the app can work; when you choose to post something publicly, such as an event; or when required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account anytime in the app with Profile › Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, your garage backup and the events you posted. If you can't access the app, email us and we'll delete it for you.
Children
IronAlmanac is meant for adult riders and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Information sent between the app and our service providers is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, let you know in the app.
